Phylogenetic tree depicting the relationship between Staphylococcus aureus subsp. anaerobius and other members of the genus Staphylococcus based on 1,311 base pairs of the 16S rRNA gene sequence aligned in Muscle. The tree was constructed by using the Neighbor-Joining method and Kimura 2-parameter model using MEGA5 software [26] and rooted with Bacillus subtilis subsp. subtilis. Bootstrap consensus trees were inferred from 100 replicates, only bootstrap values > 90% were indicated.
