All 16S rRNA sequences were aligned using MUSCLE [45], manually curated, following which neighbor joining tree was constructed using the Tamura-Nei Model. Bootstrap values are labelled in each branch node and the 16S rRNA of Hapalosiphon welwitschii UH IC-52-3 was used as the outgroup
